Thousands get info in legal call-in

Two thousand callers from the Triangle were served by legal experts Friday as part of the North Carolina Bar Association’s fourth annual 4ALL Statewide Service Day.

Lawyers donated their time and expertise in the WRAL-TV Studios in Raleigh and at TV stations across the state to offer free legal information via telephone.

Lawyers at seven call centers fielded a record 8,568 calls. Almost 500 lawyers, paralegals, law students and other volunteers participated.
